If you want to travel within Shanghai by public transport, we recommend using the metro:

Metro

The Shanghai International Circuit is easily accessible via Shanghai Metro Line 11.

How to get there:

• Take Metro Line 11 in the direction of Huaqiao. Please check the train’s final destination before boarding, as Line 11 splits into two branches.
• Alight at Shanghai Circuit Station – this is the official and most convenient stop for most spectators. The station is just a few minutes’ walk from Gate 1, located behind the Main Grandstand.
• Alternatively, spectators may also exit at Baiyin Road Station (Line 11). This station can be useful depending on your gate, seating location, or if Shanghai Circuit Station is particularly crowded during peak times.

Travel time from central Shanghai to the circuit is approximately 60 minutes.
